By the end of this year, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is probably going to begin the process of purchasing an extra 1,200 hectares of land for the future Noida International Airport.

According to officials, the extra land will be purchased from six villages that are close to the border of the Aligarh district.

The Uttar Pradesh government gave the go-ahead for the airport’s and the aviation hub’s additional expansion earlier this month. The airport’s boundaries would now stretch to the edges of the proposed logistics park in the Aligarh district with the inclusion of this 1,200-0-hectare site.

The 1,200 hectares would be purchased from six villages: Mangaroli, Bhabokra, Deorar, Sadullapur, Ahmadpur Choroli, and Alabalpur, a top YEIDA official stated on condition of anonymity. These communities are located in between the planned logistics park and the Jewar airport region.
