Noida: Proposal for Homeowners to Pay More for Registering Flats Mooted
For Supertech Limited’s six ongoing housing projects in Noida and Greater Noida, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) appointed a resolution professional. This professional has recommended that if buyers choose to make additional payments against their apartment, he can register the property because registration is only possible once the land cost dues to the Noida Authority are settled.
The additional money that needs to be paid to the Noida Authority will be reimbursed, according to Resolution Professional (RP) Hitesh Goel, once the company managing the housing projects that are stuck with more funding in the future.
However, some customers are hesitant to pay this extra sum because they have already paid the realtor in full for their particular apartment in a housing complex.
In the meantime, the Noida authority has stated that they will investigate the suggestion if it does not place an additional burden on customers or homeowners.
The RP is handling the six projects of Supertech Limited: Upcountry in the Yamuna Expressway area, Czar and Ecovillage III in Greater Noida, Romano and Capetown in Noida, and Ecovillage I.
