Global City Project in Gurugram Gets Environment Clearance from MoEF
According to persons with knowledge of the situation, the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change has given the ambitious Global City project in Gurugram, Haryana, environmental permission. This information was reported to Moneycontrol.
The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is in charge of carrying out the project. The HSIIDC’s Global City is being developed in Gurugram’s sectors 36B, 37A, and 37B, close to the Dwarka Expressway, which opened recently. There will be residential areas, business zones, and industrial clusters all over the approximately 1000 acres that make up the Global City.
“The Global City project has received the much-needed environmental approval from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change. This change will allow the project to expand seamlessly and expedite the rate at which work is completed on the ground. A public notice related to the project’s environmental clearance has also been released by HSIIDC, according to an HSIIDC representative.
