Yamuna Expressway Authority to Spend Rs 14,000 Crore for Acquiring 6,000-Hectare Land in next 5 Years
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) intends to purchase 6,065 hectares of land close to the future Noida International Airport for Rs 14,000 crore over the course of the next five years.
In order to draw investment to the area, the Authority plans to use this land bank to build urban centers, industrial clusters, municipal amenities, and a logistic park next to the future facility along the Yamuna Expressway.
According to officials, money will be obtained from government agencies and banks. The Authority has also partnered with the state-owned Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) to accomplish this.
The Authority will purchase the necessary land from forty villages along the Yamuna Expressway, close to Jewar Airport.
