Yamuna Expressway Authority to Launch 2,000 Residential Plots Near Noida Airport During Navratri

After receiving positive feedback from previous schemes, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is preparing to introduce another one to sell residential plots during the next holiday season.

Officials say that in honor of the Navratri celebration, the Authority will introduce a brand-new residential plot layout consisting of over 2,000 land pieces. These plots are aimed at buyers in the mid-income bracket and will fall into the smaller size category.

CEO of Yamuna Authority Arun Vir Singh stated that while the Authority’s prior residential plot initiatives were well received, many individuals were unable to participate, hence an additional scheme was devised.

Through our initiatives, we intend to introduce about 4,000 residential plots. These will be smaller plots, probably between 120 and 162 square meters (sq m) in size, according to Singh.

Two thousand of the four thousand plots would be inaugurated during the Navratri celebrations, according to a YEIDA official.

The scheme

According to the official, the new residential plot project will be implemented in the areas close to Noida International Airport. The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) registration process for this program has also been initiated by the Authority.

These plots will be distributed by a lucky draw, according to officials. The estimated allotment rate per square meter is Rs 25,900. The lowest 120 sq m plot, if given at this rate, will cost approximately Rs 31.08 lakh, while the 162 sq m plot will cost approximately Rs 41.95 lakh.

A project for 361 residential plots in sectors 16, 18, 20, and 22D was introduced by the YEIDA in July 2024. The lucky lottery for the 361 residential plots will be held by the Authority in October 10.

For the 1,184 residential plots available in the YEIDA home plot scheme, which concluded on September 4, 2023, over 2.4 lakh people registered.
