MahaRERA Tells Developers to Declare Parking Space Details to Homebuyers
In order to avoid confusion and potential disputes, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has requested that developers include information about parking spaces sold or assigned to homebuyers in the allocation letter and sale agreement.
The regulator announced that it was taking action in response to multiple complaints from customers, including limited maneuvering space, inability to park in designated spots, building beams preventing vehicles from parking, and difficulty opening the vehicle door after parking.
As a result, the regulator made the decision to require developers to append the allocation letter and sale agreement with all parking-related facts.
