Within the next five years, Prestige Group, a listed real estate developer based in Bengaluru, intends to create 28 million square feet (msf) of office space in Bengaluru. According to Juggy Marwaha, CEO of Prestige Office Ventures, the Group intends to create 40 msf in total across India, generating earnings of Rs 3,000 crore annually, Moneycontrol said.
About 15 million square feet are now under development in Bengaluru, and the company plans to add another 10 million square feet in the next two fiscal years.
Approximately 7 msf of the 40 msf pipeline will be in Mumbai, 1 msf in Pune, 0.5 msf in Delhi, and 2 msf in each of Hyderabad and Chennai, according to Marwaha.
Prestige Group stated that the company is considering east Bengaluru, north Bengaluru, the central business district (CBD), and the outer ring road.
