In order to receive the benefits of an extension of project registration, the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) has penalized over a thousand projects for improperly filing the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) and instructed promotors to publish the most recent QPRs on the portal.

Promoters of 1,088 projects have been penalized for QPR-related infractions, according to the UPRERA. Of the 1,088 projects, 356 projects’ developers have not updated their targets on the Authority’s webpage, and the promoters of 732 projects have not supplied any information about their goals or anticipated completion dates.

The majority of these projects are situated in places like Varanasi, Agra, Lucknow, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, etc. All kinds of projects, including residential, commercial, and planned developments, were penalized.
