YEIDA Cancels Allotment of Plots to Sunworld Infrastructure & Supertech Township
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) announced on Wednesday that, due to unpaid debt, it has revoked the land parcels that had been assigned to Sunworld Infrastructure and Supertech Township in the vicinity of the planned Film City and the future Noida International Airport. To create townships in Sector 22D along the Yamuna Expressway, each real estate developer received an allotment of about 100 acres of land. YEIDA reported that Sunworld Infrastructure owed Rs 164.86 crore and Supertech Township owed Rs 137.28 crore in outstanding debt.
Additionally, the authority—which is part of the Uttar Pradesh government—has given developer ATS Realty and Greenbay Infrastructure until July 31 to pay their outstanding balances. These deadlines expire on August 31.
