For a total of Rs 79 crore, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal bought two parcels of land of about 5 acres each in the Mehrauli Tehsil of New Delhi. According to the property registration paperwork that CRE Matrix was able to get, Goyal paid stamp duty totaling Rs 5.24 crore for the two land parcels that he purchased from separate sets of owners.

In the first land transaction, which was recorded on March 28, 2023, Goyal paid Rs 1.74 crore in stamp duty and Rs 29 crore for 2.5 acres of land from Luxalon Building Pvt Ltd.

In the second transaction, which was recorded on September 1, 2023, Goyal paid Rs 3.50 crore in stamp duty and bought 2.53 acres of land from a person named Ravi Kapur for Rs 50 crore.

The two plots are situated in the Chhatarpur area’s village of Dera Mandi, and Hauz Khas served as the registration location for both transactions, per the records.
